Susanna Kulli
digital art archive

From 1983 to 2018, the Susanna Kulli Gallery shaped the Swiss art scene. After the closure of its physical space, a new question arose: How can this cultural heritage be preserved in a way that doesn’t disappear into an archive, but continues to have an impact as a contemporary witness?

Together with Susanna Kulli, we developed "Artist Conversations Gallery - A Digital Testimony", a platform that makes three decades of gallery work interactively accessible. Three gateways - Gallery, Artists, and Conversations - open the archive onto exhibitions, artists, and the conversations themselves.

At the heart of it sits the oral history: digitally restored and transcribed artist interviews that reveal how thinking, debating, and making art shifted over the years.

Our task: to design a digital space that works as both archive and stage - structured, evocative, and inviting.
