Sandoz
waiting-room
videos

Together with Sandoz brand managers, oncology nurses, and a physician, we developed explanatory films in the truest sense – ones that do more than explain. The animated films are designed for patients in Swiss medical practices and hospitals, covering topics such as generics, biosimilars, osteoporosis, and nutrition during chemotherapy. The resulting films communicate complex medical relationships in a way that lands in the waiting room – clear without being simplistic, and close to the questions patients genuinely bring with them.

"What are generics?" addresses patients who are skeptical about switching from a branded medication. The animated film explains how generics are approved, why they contain the same active ingredient as the original – and why the lower price says nothing about quality. Developed for use in the waiting rooms of general practices.

"What is osteoporosis?" raises awareness among older patients about risk factors and early signs of the bone disease – before a fall or fracture becomes the first indication. The film explains how bone density decreases, which lifestyle factors increase the risk, and what preventive steps are possible. Format: illustrated storyboard that works in the waiting room even without sound.

Cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy face a paradoxical situation: the body needs more energy, yet appetite is often gone. This animated film explains why adequate nutrition directly affects treatment outcomes – and how malnutrition can be recognised and prevented. Developed in close collaboration with oncology specialists.
