How can biodiversity be more strongly integrated into construction projects and institutional real estate planning? This was the central question of a symposium organized by Natur Umwelt Wissen, an office for environmental and science communication, bringing together voices from science, practice, and public administration.

Our task was to translate the symposium's discussions into a large-format, narrative visualization. The challenge was to bring together a wide range of perspectives - from cost considerations and governance questions to concrete implementation strategies - and make them readable for decision-makers in planning, real estate, and policy.

The result is, quite literally, a "knowledge tree": eight key fields of action, structured and connected through illustrations, short texts, and visual metaphors. The graphic serves at once as a report, a basis for discussion, and an orientation tool for actors working at the intersection of science, planning, and real estate development.
