GfA
strategy communication
& mobilization

When two organizations merge, strategy needs to do more than set direction - it needs to build connection, clarity and trust.

This was the situation facing Zurich-based "Gesundheitszentren für das Alter" (GfA). Created through the merger of two previously independent organizations, the new entity faced real uncertainty across its workforce - and a need for orientation. What it needed was a shared narrative strong enough to hold the many parts together and to turn change into a tangible picture of the future.

Approach

At the heart of the communication stood the "One Planet" metaphor, built around the vision "Leben im Zentrum" (roughly: "living at the center"). It translated the complexity of the new organization into a single image - one that could carry the strategy and connect its diverse parts.

The resulting visual gave employees a shared picture of where things were heading, and made the new direction not just understandable, but motivating and relevant in everyday work. Through ongoing updates, competitions, and workshops, the story keeps evolving - staying present in the daily life of the organization rather than fading after the launch.
