Eawag's research tackles one of the defining questions of our time: How can we manage water responsibly under growing pressure from resource demand, pollution, and climate change? The insights are powerful, but the system behind them is complex.
Eawag's research tackles one of the defining questions of our time: How can we manage water responsibly under growing pressure from resource demand, pollution, and climate change? The insights are powerful, but the system behind them is complex.
Eawag asked us to turn this complexity into a clear visual story. We created one main infographic that shows how water systems work and how they shape - and are shaped by - their wider environment. Four deep dives extend this system view into the key impact themes: cycles, climate change, biodiversity, and health. A separate infographic traces Eawag's history and its long-term contribution to water research and practice.
The result is a modular infographic suite that makes interdependencies visible, invites exploration, and helps decision-makers and broader audiences see where the real levers for circular water management and resilient infrastructure lie.
