The Building Department of the Canton of Zurich is navigating significant pressure: climate change, population growth, and rising construction activity all demand more efficient processes and better decisions across the lifecycle of buildings and infrastructure.
With the introduction of the BIM (Building Information Modeling) method, the department is digitalizing how planning, construction, and operations work together - and how stakeholders across these stages collaborate. Our role was to help structure and communicate the strategic direction behind this shift.
The aim was to make the vision of digital transformation tangible, and to build a shared understanding of what data-driven planning and collaboration can unlock.
In workshops with key stakeholders, we shaped the strategic content and translated it into a clear visual narrative. On this foundation, we developed a presentation and a set of illustrations that bring the strategy and its implementation into focus - ready for internal communication and dialogue.
