Origins: Pre-Histories of Football

The FIFA Museum in Zurich has published the first digital exhibition on its website. On the theme ‘Origins: Pre-Histories of Football’, we built up the scientific content of the museum into structured and entertaining storyboards and created the screen design as well as illustrations and collages for the visual implementation.

Four historical ball sports from different eras and geographical regions are presented in separate digitorials. They show the innate predisposition of humans to play with a ball – whether for social interaction, military training, as part of a ritual ceremony, or simply as an aesthetic leisure activity.
